STAFF PROFILE - TEACHER

Rosemary weston

“I LOVE BEING IN THE CLASSROOM WITH THE STUDENTS AND SHARING MY PASSION AND ENTHUSIASM FOR A DYNAMIC AND ENTHRALLING SUBJECT.”

Having left Southampton University with a degree in Biochemistry and Pharmacology, I decided to complete a Secondary PGCE at Warwick University. Since then, I taught Science in the UK for over 15 years before embarking on my international career at The British International School of Shanghai. As a family, we then moved to Vilnius during the summer of 2022 and I have taught Science at BSV to Year 6 upwards.

I love being in the classroom with the students and sharing my passion and enthusiasm for a dynamic and enthralling subject, especially the gory side of Biology. In addition, I am interested in changes in pedagogical approaches and consequently I try to ensure my teaching methods are varied to improve the learner experience.

About Mrs Weston

Outside of school, I am kept extremely busy by my 2 boys; Rory and Harrison. We love to explore new places, meet new people and try new foods. I also love cooking, listening to music - especially live music, reading and running.
