STAFF PROFILE - LITHUANIAN TEACHER

Jurgita Jodkiene

“LANGUAGES ARE LEARNED MOST EFFICIENTLY WHEN STUDENTS ARE HIGHLY MOTIVATED AND HAPPY.”

I am delighted to be a part of this dynamic international school, dedicated to helping every child be successful. I graduated from Vilniaus Pedagoginis Universitetas in 1999 with a degree in teaching Lithuanian Language and Literature. I have taught in several schools in Vilnius and gained my Higher Teacher in Lithuanian Language qualification in 2015.

The role of Lithuanian Teacher at The British School of Vilnius gives me the chance to share my passion for the Lithuanian language and culture with native and foreign students. Languages are learned most efficiently when students are highly motivated and happy. I am thrilled about having students engaged in the process of learning Lithuanian taking advantage of what BSV has to offer, as a modern and forward-thinking school.
