Secondary spanish Language Trip
Our Upper Secondary language trip to Estepona, Spain was a fantastic experience for all involved and one which the students will look back on with some unique and very happy memories for a long time to come!
Enjoying some lovely Spanish sunshine through the week, the students took part in intensive language classes in the mornings, before embarking on a range of extra-curricular activities in the afternoons, all of which were designed to further develop their knowledge and enjoyment of the Spanish language, culture and indeed the country as a whole.
Highlights included a trip to an artisanal cheese farm, where students were immersed in a truly ‘hands on’ experience in the cheese making process (including meeting a herd of highly entertaining goats and their kids), along with historical walking tours of Estepona and its beautiful surrounding coastline. The students also had the opportunity of developing their historical knowledge of the country by visiting the famous Alhambra in Granada, before spending the next day in the vibrant and exciting city of Malaga, which ended with a delicious restaurant meal of tapas dishes.
