Summer Fair Charity Donations

Our Annual Summer Fair was a huge success! Your generosity helped us to raise funds for the two charities we have supported throughout the year. The first charity is Būkime kartu, making a donation of €800. Since 2002, the Vilnius International Club has given children in Lithuanian orphanages and care houses a special day with their Būkime Kartu Festival More than 150 children, including 50 Ukrainian refugee children, had a fabulous day of activities, performances and delicious food. One of the biggest single expense items is the cost of renting buses to transport the children from orphanages that don't have transport. Our donation allowed all of these children to be able to attend the festival, bringing such joy to them! The second charity we were able to support is VšĮ Gyvenam, making a donation of €550.00. This will help to finance summer camp for 100 teenagers from Mariupol, Ukraine this June. In addition, a very big thank you to everyone who participated in the essential items collection drive for the camp. Your contributions made this initiative a success! It will have such a positive impact to these children's lives and truly brighten their summer!
