Following my school education, I studied for a BSc in Sport Science at the University of Brighton. After this I worked for a few years in the fitness and coaching industry and it was during this time that I realised my skills and talents lay with teaching and coaching children rather than adults. This discovery led me back into education and I trained to be a teacher and gained my PGCE certification at Middlesex University in London.
During my 10 years of teaching, I have been lucky enough to experience schools in the UK, Slovakia and China. I have enjoyed many adventures and had wonderful experiences with my family during this time. In the past, I have taught across the entire Primary age range and held the positions of Primary Curriculum Coordinator and Primary STEAM coordinator in different schools. I believe that every student is capable of more than they think they are. I am a life-long learner and enjoy taking the learning journey with all the students I teach.
