STAFF PROFILE - TEACHER

EOIN GOVERS

“THE ONLY PERSON YOU SHOULD COMPETE WITH IS THE PERSON YOU WERE YESTERDAY.”

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Science Education (majoring in mathematics) from Dublin City University in 2012. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to teach in Ireland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, The Falkland Islands, Armenia and most recently Dubai. I have vast experience teaching Cambridge, Edexcel and International Baccalaureate programs in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. I strive to create a warm, safe and comfortable learning environment where students are encouraged to take risks and push themselves in the classroom.

About Mr Govers

Outside the classroom I enjoy running, swimming and football. I am a keen traveler and like discovering new places, traditions and cultures. As a member of the Irish Chess Union, I am also an avid chess enthusiast/ player/ coach and I am really looking forward to running BSV’s chess club again this year.
