STAFF PROFILE - TEACHER

ANDREA FLYNN

“I BELIEVE THERE ARE NO LIMITS TO WHAT A CHILD CAN ACHIEVE.”

I completed my BA Honours degree in History at the University of Sheffield before achieving my PGCE in Primary Education at the University of Leeds in 2006. With seventeen years teaching experience across the primary years I am a creative and experienced educator. I am currently the Reception class teacher at The British School of Vilnius , and prior to this I was a Head of Early Years at an British International school in Bangkok and had taught at a Prep School in the south of England and in Germany.

I believe that there are no limits to what a child can achieve. The primary school years provide a tremendous opportunity for children to learn, grow and challenge themselves; I pride myself on valuing the unique child and fostering their individual interests, so that the children in my care are able to excel and ultimately achieve their dreams. My extensive teaching experience means that I have a clear view of not only what a child needs to do in order to progress, but also where they have come from on their learning journey.

About Mrs Flynn

I am passionate about travel and the great outdoors and I strive to ensure that my children learn from first-hand experience, not just from textbooks. Beyond school I enjoy spending time with my young family and taking part in outdoor activities including skiing, swimming, cycling, hiking, camping and paddle-boarding. As a family we are always on the look-out for a new adventure and we are excited to explore all that Lithuania has to offer.
