Ms Dinah Middleton
I have spent the last 2 years teaching in a British International school in Warsaw, Poland. Prior to that, I taught in a variety of year groups and settings in the UK for 16 years. I have a wide range of experience in both mainstream and special schools. I have 8 years experience of middle leadership roles including subject co-ordinator roles and 3 years as EYFS Leader.
I believe that high-quality early education is key to developing a child’s love of learning and school. It is, quite literally, the foundation upon which we build in order that each child achieves success and is enabled to realise their potential. I take a holistic, creative approach to education that places the child at the heart of learning and teaching. I strive to create a positive and nurturing environment where each child can develop their knowledge, skills, and understanding in order to become inquisitive, reflective, resilient and confident learners who will thrive and succeed within and beyond school.
About Ms Middleton
I was born and raised in Liverpool in the North-west of England – home of The Beatles (no, I don’t know them but my neighbour did go to school with Paul McCartney!) and the three great football teams: Liverpool, Everton, and Tranmere Rovers. I have two grown-up sons. Matthew, the youngest, lives in Glasgow, Scotland, and Jacob, the eldest, lives in Manchester. Before becoming a teacher I was a Registered Nurse for 18 years. I have visited Vilnius before and really enjoyed the time I spent exploring the Old Town and seeing the sights. I will be moving to Vilnius with my constant companion Jess, a 7-year-old border collie dog who is mad about balls. I’m really looking forward to returning to this beautiful country and hoping for plenty of snow in the winter!
