Presentation Event

Presentation Event

Saturday, December 8, was the first of BSV’s events scheduled for this academic year. The school welcomed guests from the wider Vilnius community, including Audronis Imbrasas (Member of the Committee on Culture, Education and Sport) who spoke on behalf of the mayor of Vilnius, Mr. Remigijus Šimašius who presented The Schools Trust trustee, John Ordovas with a Vilnius flag.

The event was very well attended by interested parents who saw first-hand the new BSV campus. During her speech, Ms. Lawrence stated the new campus and outdoor areas are specially designed to encourage sensorial learning at every turn, to nurture a child’s thirst for exploration and engage all their senses.

During the event, it was announced to attendees that BSV will be offering an Early Years Class (aged 2-4 years old) this academic year 2018-2019.  As the first school to provide the English National Curriculum in Vilnius, the Head of Infant School, Gracie Lawrence spoke about how she expects a “strong demand” for places at BSV and promises “every day will be a new adventure.”

If you were unable to attend the event and would like your own private tour of the facilities with our Head of Infant School, you can arrange this by using our booking form at https://britishschool.lt/school-visit/.
