The British School of Vilnius opened its doors to Vilnius’ families on Saturday for their ‘British Family Festival’. They were lucky with the sunny weather as many activities were enjoyed outside, including a scientist doing fun experiments with the children, a clown creating animal balloons and a face painter, making all children leave with a big smile on their faces.
Parents enjoyed singing from famous ‘The Voice’ winner, Sabina while they bought fantastic items sold by many local businesses. Delicious British food, such as bangers and mash and fish and chips were available for lunch while children played on the bouncy castle.
Gracie Lawrence, Head of Infant School said, ‘It has turned out to be a lovely day. We were lucky with the weather and it’s been fantastic to see smiles on all the children’s faces. We are excited about the upcoming year and are accepting admissions for children aged 2 to 8. We look forward to many of the children here being part of our founding families at the school.’
