ART

Art Class At BSV

Our teachers deliver lessons designed to develop creativity using a variety of media and techniques in art and craftwork. Awareness of colour, shape, balance, focus and proportion are formed alongside the use of symbols to convey ideas and feelings.

Students study a wide range of artists, craftspeople and designers. These studies do not remain solely in the classroom as we invite artists every year to hold workshops in their field.

Children’s work is regularly displayed throughout the school, and quality work is present in a variety of school publications to ensure recognition of talent by other students and parents.

Children’s Art Classes involves painting, drawing, design, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and much more. Our facilities and materials are all designed specifically for young children.

During Art classes, your child will be introduced to basic art skills, and every opportunity will be afforded to them to grow as young artists. The Art curriculum is designed to strengthen a child’s knowledge of art, as well as their artistic ability and skills.
